Marilyn Anderson is a photographer and artist as well as the U.S. Project Director for Pro Arte Maya, which promotes the appreciation and practice by Mayan and other Guatemalan children of their rich and varied art and traditions. She sells these products to help promote this education effort and also uses them as teaching material. "Honor the Traditional Maya Artists of Guatemala" series. Shows different aspects of work done by the men and women who carry on the textile arts of Guatemala. These images were inspired by the creative artists and artisans who do the spinning, dyeing, warping, and other weaving processes to produce the Maya textiles admired throughout the world. The 5 X 7 notecards and envelopes depict Mayan artists of Guatemala playing, learning and doing traditional arts. A set of cards contains two of each of the six designs.
